Charm City Pearls Foundation, Incorporated (501c3) is a non-profit, charitable organization created to provide financial resources and community support to Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated – Psi Phi Omega chapter and selected partners in support of their community service and scholarship programs purposed for Baltimore, Maryland. The organization was established in October 2014 under the leadership of Ms. Joan Wilmer-Stewart, and the founders of this organization have the expertise in fundraising and grant writing to ensure the financial perpetuity and high quality programming of Psi Phi Omega chapter and selected partners are delivered to those in need. Baltimore citizens who benefit from the community service programs delivered via the resourcing support of Charm City Pearls Foundation, Incorporation include youth, women, men, and the elderly. Programs supported are designed to address Education, Financial Literacy and Economic Improvement, Health and Wellness, Arts, Family Strengthening, Community Leadership Development, and Global Impact
The resources and services provided by Charm City Pearls Foundation, Incorporated include, but not limited to, financial grant support for programs of service aligned to the mission of the organization, community and corporate partnership management and support, project and program management of city wide community service collaboration initiatives, and the administration of selected services through grant awardees.
